How to Set Up XMPP / Jabber

Step 1:
Download a client:
1) Gajim - https://gajim.org/
2) Pidgin - https://pidgin.im/
3) Dino - https://dino.im/

[Dino or Gajim is preferable. Pidjin is shown in DNM bible but from my research I found it to be vulnerable (not making any claims).]
[I am using Gajim so I will show you how to set up an account on Gajim.]

Direct download and install for windows.

[How to install on linux]:
1.Open terminal
2. Type "sudo apt install" and "name of the app"
3. Type your password and again press "enter"
Congrats you have installed XMPP client

Step 2:
Look for a XMPP server.

You can check servers on the links attached below:

Step 3:
Register your username on the server.

Step 4:
Add account on your XMPP client:
1. Click on "Gajim" then click on "Accounts"
2. Click on "Add accounts"
3. Select 1st option and Click "Forward"
4. Fill in details of the account you created and click "Forward"
5. Click Finish

You have successfully created an XMPP account
